Rurouni Kenshin OVA - Kenshin (18)
There is something about the story of the powerful -- and very good -- young swordsman becoming a killer in order to free the country from oppression that I find incredibly compelling. I did this cel from a screencap of the first OVA, although I lightened it considerably from the way it looks in the show. This is from the battle with the Shinsengumi that sends Kenshin and Tomoe fleeing Kyoto. This cel turned out very nicely.
